Easter 2004

April 9 - 12, 2004.

Our first trip on the 'new' Kuredu.

What a beautiful weekend this was. The weather was just picture perfect, the water calm as a pond and everything just great. We decided to take Kuredu up to Secret Cove for the weekend with the whole family on board. Anneline, Megan and I slept on board in Granville on Thursday evening and then Anneline left by car to pick up the boys and get the last supplies. Megan and I took the boat to Horseshoe Bay where we picked them up again left left for Secret Cove. Rob and Heather spent the weekend with us on their boat, Baby Knot.

We arrived in Secret around noon, made food and then left for Thormanby Island so the Philip and Megan could play on the beach. Christopher went fishing with Rob and they joined us later in Thormanby's Buccaneer Bay for a beer on Kuredu. Went back and BBQ'd a cow. Next day we went for a cruise around Pender Harbour. Tied up at Pender for some supplies and food.

Sunday we left for home early. On the way we cruised into Smugglers Cove - really tight getting in but beautiful little cove to explore. Picked up my folks at Dundarave and cruised to Deep Cove for the afternoon.
