Silva Bay Marina

April 17 - 20, 2004

Anneline and I decided to take an anniversary (our wedding, that is) cruise to Silva Bay. Not much to say here, except Silva is one of our favourite marinas. They're always friendly and will always make room if you need it. Excellent food at very reasonable prices and the winter season moorage is 50c/ft.

Kuredu in Granville before we left.   Just after arriving in Silva Bay.  Beauty, eh?  The Silva Boatel and marina.  Silva Bay restaurant and pub.  This is the dock shoppe. In summer it serves light means, ice cream and snacks. Right on the docks.  Fuel...  Yeah!  One of the sleekest designs.  The dock store.  Kuredu. She did not yet have a bimini.  I like.  Looking back towards Silva Bay from outside the South channel.  Gabriola Pass towards Dodd Narrows and Nanaimo.  Degnen Bay, Gabriola  Degnen Bay, Gabriola  Cottages on Gabriola South side.  Viking ship in English Bay  Home!
