The annual Vancouver Celebration of Light is one of the most spectacular fireworks shows in the world. The annual attendance over the 4 days is approximately 2 million and an average of 1000 boats anchor around the barge for each show. We are attending three of the shows this year - will be in Desolation Sound for the last show (finale).
The first cruise was with guys from my company and a couple of invited guests. We were 16 people on board and surprisingly never felt crowded. Left Sewells at 6:30 pm and arrived at our spot just past 7:10 pm. The show was spectacular (Italy) but I didn't take any pics since I cannot do it any better than the KatKam, so I include a few of their shots for you. The cruise back was slow but fun and we docked at around 12:20 am.
And some KatKam pics - Before the show - see how the anchor room fills up?
